Melvin Finklestein is on his way

I’m a member of the BookElves, which is a group of writers who hail from the four corners of the world and share the love of writing great Middle Grade fiction. Last year, the Elves released a book of short stories called BookElves Anthology (Volume 1) in both ebook and paperback. It proved to be quite popular, so it’s great news that this festive season will see the release of Volume 2.

Those of you who have read my book TIME SQUARE | UFO will be familiar with a couple of characters who have proven to be very popular. Melvin Finklestein is a scatterbrain genius inventor who lives and invents in an abandoned mansion in the hills above Los Angeles. Neil, a Rhino beetle, is his extremely loyal and supportive assistant. The pair have been working together for many years and have built such a great relationship that they’re just like a family.

I’m thrilled to announce that Melvin and Neil are the stars of my newest tale, which will be one of seven great stories released in BookElves Anthology (Volume 2). Keep your eyes peeled over the next few months for updates on how the second anthology is progressing. In an exclusive and clever move, I’ve decided to tease you a little and give a sneak peek at what Melvin and Neil will be up to. Drumroll please … Here it is … the cover for their new adventure. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Melvin Xmas CrackUp 0.1

“Just thinking about it made his head spin. But Melvin knew that the only way to get anywhere was to start somewhere and then move. Standing around wasn’t going to get anything done.” – Melvin Finklestein’s Christmas Crack-up
