A quote from Santa

This is a quote from Santa to me at a special Christmas party earlier today in the ward where my daughter is having her chemotherapy.

“This is the most humbling morning of my life.”

Thanks for being there, Santa.

  1. Still thinking of you here, Steve and daughter and family. Hector had an operation yesterday but is back home fine. We empathise with the smells and feeling rotten and feeling better at times but then feeling down again.

It helps having Santa around, too.

    1. Thanks Jemima. Best of health to Hector, and thanks for all your efforts in the 12 Elves of Christmas.

Thinking of you all, Steve. May you have all find ways to have joyous moments throughout her fight. This side of the world is cheering her on. Hubby’s chemo may have been three years ago but it is all still so fresh in my mind – the emotions more than anything.Hugs and blessings to you all.

    1. I hear the cheers…..thanks

  3. All my prayers and thoughts are with you in this difficult time Steve.

  4. Santa always knows the right thing to say. Wishing your family all the comforts of home this holiday.

    1. Thanks Honie.
Gotta say, when he said it to me, it brought a tear to my eye, then he patted me on the back and said “Stay strong.”

  5. Praying for you and your family daily.

  6. Aw! So inspiring to see joy even in the hardest of times. Blessings on you and your family.

  7. Santa can be the best medicine ever for children of all ages. Keep strong, Steve. Been thinking of you, your daughter and family, and sending you positive thoughts and prayers. Cheers and hugs.

    1. Thanks Sharon. I was amazed at the generosity of those who hosted the party … all the kids were smothered in presents and good vibes.
