I’m a writer, but I’m also a reader, and it has recently dawned on me that I have a series problem. I love reading books that are part of a series, so whenever a new one catches my eye, l’m up for it.
That’s where my problem starts. I’ve realised that I’m part way through so many series that I need to sit down and do some soul-searching about which ones I should continue to continue to ride, or should I let it slide.
So I’ve decided to do a series (oh that’s ironic) of posts to share my impressions (from when I read the books) of some series that I’ve started. I’d really appreciate some feedback and advice from all of you on what to do. Should I … RIDE or SLIDE
HEROES OF OLYMPUS by Rick Riordan
The Lost Hero (Book #1)
Read in July 2013

In a nutshell: This is a great start to another series. I’m already engaged with the characters and I’m keen to see what they get up to next. I recommend this book to anyone who loves adventure laced with the magic of mythology and modern-day settings.
The Son of Neptune (Book #2)
Read in July 2014
See my original review in full here.
In a nutshell: It’s another cool PJ tale, which was hard for me to initially get into, but once I did, I enjoyed the read. It’s a no brainer that it will appeal to fans of Percy Jackson.
The books I haven’t read in this series.
With 3 books to go, what should I do?
RIDE or SLIDE
I’d love to hear your thoughts about my post … seriously!
