Yes, I’m a fan of these types of movie. Apollo 13 , Gravity , The Martian , to name a few.
First Man is another look at the drama behind the great race for space. This is the story of, Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon. Behind the scenes that played out on TV, there were real people, with real lives, and sacrifices taken in order to make history. From what I see in the trailer, it’s this story that is the focus.
First Man stars an impressive cast that includes Ryan Gosling , Claire Foy , Pablo Schreiber , and Christopher Abbott. IMDB describes it as “A look at the life of the astronaut, Neil Armstrong, and the legendary space mission that led him to become the first man to walk on the Moon on July 20, 1969.“ This new take on the big event is due for release in cinemas on 11 October 2018.
I really do fall for movies that deal with adversity, and show how humans can overcome obstacles to realise great achievements. But it’s only in projects that delve behind the scenes that we can truly understand that nothing comes easy. I hope that this movie delivers on what the trailer promises. BTW, I think the poster design is incredible – I love it.

My verdict: This does look like another impressive movie that gives a new perspective to one the USA’s greatest achievements.
I’d love to hear your thoughts about my post … seriously!
