Today was a day that I’ve been working towards for the past two and a half years. Subway Palliatopia has been such a long project and there were many times that I wondered if it would ever see the light of day. But, as I’ve said many times … success is born from perseverance.

Finally, I got to hold and feel the result of a ridiculous number hours of writing. Today my first paperback proof arrived. It’s shiny, smells new, has 400 pages, is crammed with 93,000 words, and measures in at 6×9 inches. It’s a big event for a writer, so I wanted to share.  Behold its beauty …
