One of my favorite CG movies a few years back was Wreck-It Ralph. There was something about it that grabbed and hooked me like a seagull at a buffet. The story was so well told, the animation was so well done, the characters were so likable. It’s been a long time between movies and I’m so glad that the second one is finally (nearly) here.
Word on the street is that Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 will be just as great as the first. Apart from the obviously long title, it’s also apparently packed full of cameos, like a load of Star Wars characters and Disney Princesses.
Ralph and Vanellope discover wi-fi and break free from their old-fash arcade and head for the excitement of the internet. They have a mission to find a spare part. Along the way, (like all of us) they must deal with all that the internet has to offer, such as memes, cats, online shopping, and clickbait. It sounds to me like an incredible world that’s just ripe for Disney to turn on the magic.
I know it’s not out until November but here’s something to whet your appetite.
