Trailer Tuesday – Fantastic Beasts – The Crimes of Grindelwald

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 24 hours it would be hard to miss the release of the highly anticipated teaser trailer of the next Fantastic Beasts movie. Even though I posted a Wreck-It Ralph 2 trailer yesterday … and … it’s not Tuesday today, I couldn’t let the opportunity pass to get this new Fantastic Beasts trailer posted.

Fantastic Beasts – The Crimes of Grindelwald has a lot to live up to. It’s fans demand a cracker and are already counting down the days (if not minutes) until it’s release date.

In this trailer we return to Hogwarts and see our first real glimpse of Jude Law as a young Dumbledore. Personally, it will take a little while for me to get used to Dumbledore being anything other than an old-grey-haired-grey-bearded-wizard-in-a-long-robe. But, everyone has the right to be younger, so I guess it’s something I’ll have to come to terms with.

Jude Law has big shoes to fill in this movie and I’m also keen to see the return of my favorite character, Queenie. There is also a glimpse of Grindelwald in there, although I don’t see him as the main focus of the clip. Perhaps he is more in the name of the movie than having a lot of screen time. Or, is it because of the controversy that surrounded the casting of Johnny Depp in the role. Who knows? We’ll need to wait until the end of the year to find out.

How great is it to return to Hogwarts? The effects look incredible, the music sounds incredible, the detail looks incredible – I guess you could say I’m suitably pleased.

Ok, it’s now time to stop the ramble and let you feast your eyes on this latest installment in the Fantastic Beasts story … enjoy.

I'd love to hear your thoughts about my post ... seriously!
